Flake Epoxy Garage Floor Coatings
A full epoxy system with broadcast vinyl flake and a clear protective topcoat — the most popular garage floor finish for a reason: it hides imperfections, hides tire marks, and holds up.
How it works
Flake epoxy is applied in layers: a pigmented epoxy base coat, a broadcast layer of colored vinyl flake chips (as light or as dense as you want), and a clear topcoat that seals it all in and gives it the gloss. The flake layer isn't just cosmetic — it also helps hide dust, small debris, and minor surface imperfections between cleanings.
Why our flake floors last
- Mechanical diamond grinding, never acid etching — the concrete pores stay open for a real mechanical bond.
- Commercial-grade epoxy resins rated for freeze-thaw climates, not big-box store kits.
- Cracks, pits, and spalling repaired before any coating goes down.
- Optional anti-slip additive in the topcoat for wet or snowy conditions.
Flake density options
Full broadcast (dense, wall-to-wall flake coverage) is the most popular and most forgiving finish for daily garage use. Partial broadcast gives a lighter, more subtle look with base color showing through. We'll walk you through both on-site.
